Error while creating S3 Bucket

I am getting following exception while trying to create a aws s3 bucket.
A conflicting conditional operation is currently in progress against this resource. Please try again.

If you delete the bucket with the same name recently and trying to create it again, then you get this error. It takes several hours to delete a bucket completely (it took 2 hours in my case.)
